About Us

Sequoyah County Rural Water District #4 was incorporated as a non-profit rural water district in 1976 with a commitment to provide safe, quality drinking water to the residents south of Sallisaw, Oklahoma in the Brent and Wildhorse Mountain areas and the Applegate Cove area of Robert S. Kerr Reservoir.

District #4’s water supply system went online in 1979 with approximately 27 miles of water line and 231 customers.  The District now encompasses approximately 70 miles of water lines and over 700 customers.

Not only do we provide water to residential and commercial customers in the area, we also serve the Army Corps of Engineers and Coast Guard facilities at Robert S. Kerr Reservoir on the Arkansas River Navigation System and several businesses and agricultural operations.
